Today Mrs Bocock asked us to take some photos of the school grounds and download them onto our computers. I already knew how to do it so I got to teach others and help them while downloading. Our teacher gave us a set task we had to take a picture of four things a flower, tree, prom and a person the rest we could choose ourselves. These were my two favorite photos!

     I love these        flowers!

For three weeks Kaituna Learning Center have been invited to join Bernie and Harold in 3 life education sessions in the life education van. So far it has been a great experience for me as we are learning about many different things to do with human development and the human body. I have learnt heaps of different facts and stories of how the body works! I'm really looking forward to next year and hope it is as fun as this year!

Let me take you on an amazing journey through my fantastic dream house!

First I am going to guide you into my fantabulous bedroom. When you walk in the room is covered from top to bottom in posters of my favorite movie, Harry Potter. (I'm a bit...ok a lot obsessed). On the bottom floor I have 8 T.Vs, 3 mac book pros and 2 iPads. I also have a desk that overlooks my farm and pool that can turn into a bed for guests. To get to the second story you bounce up on my fabulous trampoline stairs (that are sparkling with aqua coloured glitter)or climb up the massive climbing wall (decorated in bright yellow ribbons.)I have a fluro green water bed with built in radios and three pear pad holders that can lift up to uncover my hidden lounge. I also have a fluro pink chair that hangs from the ceiling, and an amazing walk in wardrobe filled with designer clothes and amazing shoes !

Forensic Science

In Term 3 Kaituna Learning Centre learnt about Forensic Science with Constable Neil. We had so much fun, Constable Neil set up a fake crime scene for our class and we had to dust for finger prints and swab for DNA samples we also had to make up our own scenario for the Kaituna court. I really enjoyed the experience and hope we can do it again!
In term 3, week 6 the school had a speech competition and everybody in the school had to compete. My speech was about Global Warming and how we can save the earth. There was a  range of speeches from Maori speeches to speeches about cockroaches. Two people from our learning centre won a trophy and I thought they both deserved it. Speeches were a fun experience and I hope we get to do it again!
